These are the corrections for the 1st to 4th book editions; the 5th and subsequent editions have been corrected.


Please don't forget to read page 10 for knitting terms and abbreviations, noting in particular how to make the designated increases.

k(19, 21), p3,  BO the next (22, 24) sts by purling, (at this point, you should have a p st on the right hand needle), p2, k(19,21).
...you should be at the marker, midpoint of the remaining stitches:
remove marker, k to the last 3 sts, p3. - this gets you to the end of the row, so now you will begin to work back and forth to create the lower flap
